... Now let me take you back in time (October, 1979) and I'll tell you exactly what happened to me when I tried this formula... 

Saturday, Day 1  

    ... For the whole day Saturday after arising, I ate nothing but fruit; apples, oranges, pears, plums, grapes, and peaches -- the whole day and into the evening.  I felt surprisingly energetic and light on my feet. I drank just a couple of glasses of water during the day. (NO fruit JUICE or "smoothies"!) I hadn't noticed anything about my skin at this point and retired for the evening. (You can use whatever fruit you have on hand.)

 

Sunday, Day 2

    On Sunday I ate more fruit -- applesauce, pineapple, grapes, some fruit cocktail, watermelon, plums, (don't use bananas) and later in the day added some raw vegetables without any dressing, just a sprinkling of vinegar like the book said. 

    It consisted of lettuce, carrots, cucumbers, celery, carrots, raw green peppers and raw red peppers, broccoli and/or cauliflower and tomatoes. I felt somewhat light-headed and a little hungry throughout the day but managed to get through the night after drinking some more water and eventually fell off to sleep.  

 Monday, Day 3

    When I woke up the next morning, Monday, and checked myself in the mirror, I FROZE... literally!  I mean I could NOT move away from the mirror! The image I saw reflecting in the mirror was startling!  I think the only thing that was actually moving must have been my eyeballs as they scanned every point on my face; Left, Right, Top and Bottom. My skin was smooth, even-toned, G-L-O-W-I-N-G!... RADIANT!  

    After finally pulling myself away from the mirror, and trying to process mentally what had happened, I decided to continue a third day of eating just fruits and veggies. No dairy, bread, pasta, potatoes, starchy foods or protein (beef, chicken, fish, eggs). Just more of various fruits and veggies and plenty of liquids.

    Once again, I ate some fruit throughout the day as well as some raw veggies like carrots, dark green leafy lettuce, a handful of celery, cucumbers, pickles, and some 'dry' salads (no dressing). This time I added some cooked vegetables as well. (I'll tell you how to prepare them just by watching some of the videos in the Full Version eCourse. Anyone can do it.) 

    I noticed I wasn't as hungry as the first two days and by nightfall I tried to get some sleep. But at that point, my mind was racing with all kinds of thoughts and ideas;  

    "Did this really happen?... Was I dreaming?... Would this clear-skin look last?... Would the acne come back, like it always did?  Was it all just a coincidence?... What actually caused the changes in my skin?... Was I just having a couple of good skin days?... Was this all there was to it?" 

    Somehow, I drifted off to sleep...

Tuesday, Day 4   

    The next morning after I woke up, I made a beeline to the bathroom and checked myself in front of the mirror again. It was no dream!  My face was crystal clear! I was excited to say the least. I felt like doing cart-wheels all the way down the hallway (but I was residing in an US Army barracks in Germany at the time.)

Detoxing?  Cleanze?  Fasting?

    Now this is the kind of approach you've probably read about all over the internet. Some people call it 'cleansing', others call it 'detoxing' or you've seen phrases such as 'Acne Free in 3 Days' or 'master cleanze' or 'cleansing  the toxins from your system and you'll be acne-free', etc., etc.

    And I know one acne site says you have to only eat a particular kind of apple for 3 days and no other fruit (and requires you to perform nasty enemas each day), but once you really understand the science behind it and why it works (which I'll explain in the eCourse) nobody will be able to BS you anymore. Knowledge is definitely Power!

    Again, this Formula (originally called 'The AboutFace Clear Skin Program') has been on the internet and in use since 1996! And it's still being used today -- more now than ever before! I've even found some OLD posts here.  (As you'll see, this acne program has been circulating around the internet for years... and was even mentioned in the magazines below.)

 

Just A Tiny Part Of The Program

    But one very important note... this segment should only be a small PART of your acne regimen... not the entire program -- like some acne programs out there. It's primarily set up to "jump start" your healing system into "clear-skin mode." 

    So it's just the first step of your journey to clearer skin. Now, some acne sufferers may not have to do anything else after using this weekend program... but that's rare. There's usually lots of 'fine-tuning' that follows.

    Actually, the real benefit of eating just fruit and/or veggies for two or three days and seeing your skin respond favorably, is to see for yourself that something like this actually works. It's real!  You'll become a believer!

   And it shows you PROOF that one of the key components to clearer skin comes from within, not from putting stuff on the outside of your skin. Put another way, The 'AcneFree In A Weekend' Challenge is basically a  TEST.  Again, there's a lot more information you'll want to know in the full-version eCourse to keep your skin in tip-top shape... permanently!

    And you can customize this 'weekend approach' any way you want to. You could start Friday or Saturday, or even Wednesday, or whenever your "weekend" is.  

    And you can eat strawberries, blueberries, pomengranate, kiwi, cherries, or any juicy delicious fruits -- not just apples. And no enemas or colonics required. (If you've convinced yourself you have to use just apples, then go ahead and use apples.)

    Note: Drink this powerful beverage when you use the weekend approach; Take one gallon or about one liter of bottled water, squeeze the juice of ONE lemon in it, shake, and consume it in between eating your fruits and veggies. This drink helps dissolve various wastes and toxins. (Discover the clear skin accelarator drink [Chapter 6] I found that speeds up the skin-clearing process even faster than the lemon drink!)

    Now for most people, this weekend program works great  -- about 95% for all who try it will see a significant reduction in acne.  However, for a small percentage of people, it may have very little or no effect your skin condition. 

    But don't worry... this is just ONE technique out of several that's available in the eCourse. So don't worry if you're one of the ones that it doesn't work so well on. There's plenty of other options to use.


Finding the Right Food Program  

    Getting back to my story... after seeing the transformation of my skin after that amazing weekend in 1979, I was very happy -- initially anyway. BUT... there were a couple problems I had to deal with; I was losing weight and muscle mass, and I was hungry all the time.

    Now that my acne had disappeared, what would I have to do to keep it away?  What would it take?  Eventually, I was gonna have to eat more than just fruits and veggies or I'd shrivel up to nothing! 

    But what foods should I eat or not eat? Should I go vegetarian? Avoid dairy? Take vitamins? Eat more meat? What???...  So I experimented and quickly found out that unless I made some additional corrections to my diet, my acne would return, and then I'd have to go on another mini-fruit or veggie-fast, and it would go away.

   And that's the problem. You have to keep doing these mini-fasts causing you to lose weight -- and muscle mass. And that's no way to live! It's not healthy.

                                                                   

    And it's the same thing with people who follow any 'detox' program, fast, or use the 3 day apple cure.  Acne sufferers who try these programs find out soon enough they have to keep repeating the programs over and over for a period of time. Some common complaints I get emailed to me all the time from them...

  • "It worked at first, but the acne returned after I started eating regular food. Can you help?"
  • "My skin looked great on the 4th day... but in a week I started breaking out again."
  • "I can't afford to lose anymore weight."
  • "Tell me, what can I eat afterwards?" 
  • "I don't have 3 days every other week to sit around eating apples. Help!"
  • "It does work... temporarily, but there's gotta be a better way." 
  • 'I've tried different supplements but it hasn't helped much...I noticed it's the foods that work best. Does your program outline what to eat and what not to?"

 

How To MAINTAIN Your Clear Skin Afterwards

    Now this is the part that many acne sufferers don't quite get... How To MAINTAIN your new clear skin look. Many a website can show you how to get clear skin -- whether it's creams, lotions, diet, etc -- that's the easy part, actually. But now, how do you STAY clear?

    What you do to get clear skin is ONE thing. STAYING clear is a whole other science in itself. If you've ever thought you had your acne problem licked, only to have it come back again, then you know what I'm talking about.

    So the challenge for me back then was to find a food-program, diet, or some system of eating specifically for my situation; One that would keep my acne at bay -- or from ever coming back -- and keep me healthy at the same time  -- without starving, losing weight or muscle mass.

    And I also wanted to do it WITHOUT fasting, eating like a bird, as well as having to go through the rituals of using creams, lotions, ointments or mega-dosing on pills. I had had enough of that! 

    So building on the information I had compiled over the years, I sought out a SYSTEM that I could thrive on, and, at the same time, MAINTAIN my skin clear and healthy.  It actually took several years of trial and error experimentation to develop into what is today, The Acne-Free Formula. 

All Kinds Of Food To Eat

    Now don't worry, you'll still get to eat plenty of the regular everyday foods you're probably used to eating, such as chicken, beef, eggs, seafood, tofu (for vegetarians), potatoes, certain kinds of bread, and some dairy products. You'll see the list of foods to eat in Food Program Chapter.)

    And you'll still be able to junk out on your favorite foods as well. If you like to lift weights or work out, you'll be able to do that as well. This is an all-around healthy program. And it's more than just a eat this - not this approach. It's using what I call "food strategies."

    Now if you're a little skeptical about using this weekend approach, that's normal. You may be asking, " How can something as radical as just eating fruit for a few days have anything to do with my skin?" 

    Good question. Let me answer it this way; It's going to take something "radical" to initially disrupt the acne cycle. And in order to get clearer skin, one of first steps is to DISRUPT THE ACNE CYCLE that's going on in your skin right as we speak, right now.     So for the moment,  just TRY it. You may not see the connection now but once you see your skin change, it won't matter.

Jim,

I've been on the formula for about 2 weeks now, and I have to tell you that I am genuinely surprised. My skin is clearer now than it has been for several months. All the small, blackhead-type impactions are clearing up, and the larger ones have involuted to where they are nearly gone and not inflamed anymore.

The tone is better, and I am beginning to think that I could actually have NORMAL skin in the future!!! This is the first time that this particular thought has entered my mind in many years.

I still am too skeptical to commit on this, but I will at least admit to the existence of the possibility that you may have presented me the "cure" to my years of suffering this damned disease. After all, I have seen too many miracle cures that were nothing but fluff in the past; the program has already accomplished for me, however, more than any of these other programs did. For that, I am grateful and cautiously optimistic.

You asked me if ... I had ever taken Accutane, and the answer is yes.

It pretty much blunted the force of the acne, but the damned oily skin returned just as soon as I stopped taking it. The Accutane was a definite help in stemming the tide, but I must tell you that it didn't work as well as your program. Imagine that!! Incidentally, Jim, I'm really not one of these people you see in a medical book; my skin is not that bad. It's just that it has been oily for so long that I have accumulated scars, and the damned oil just makes my skin look bad overall.

I don't know if you remember me, the "depressed guy" from about a little more than a month ago. Well, I just wanted to say that about 3 or 4 weeks ago, it started getting a lot better! In fact, 2 weeks ago my skin was almost completely clear, except for a few purple scars.
 
It also improved my nose a lot, even though I didn't have acne there, it always appeared shiny and wet whenever light reflected on it...no matter how often I washed... oh, it got it's original color back too.

Thanks to you program my face is almost 90% clear of new acne pimples.
The only problem is I have lots of reddish brown scars from the last major breakout.
Any suggestions as to what I can do about them? I wear sunscreen daily and I have been applying a mask made of honey and nutmeg power, which is supposed to be good for the scars.

The best thing about your program is that it has helped me get back my happy being and self confidence. This will be a lifestyle change for me. I am going all the way -"xxxxxxxx" meats and other xxxxxxx foods. I can't tell
you enough how amazed I am with the way my skin looks and feels after 4+ weeks. I saw some photos of me that were taken a couple months ago.
 
If I were to have a picture taken now, the difference in the two would be night and day. The key for me, in having success with this program, has been being disciplined in what I eat. I have not strayed from the food part of the plan since I began it. I should admit that on two occassions I drank a few (3-4) beers. Staying with the plan design is key to success!
